On a construction site, steel moves from one job to another without ever passing back through a warehouse. That gap is where material goes missing, and most systems never catch it because nothing in them is built to look. Raqib logs every dispatch, transfer and wastage claim, makes people photograph what they are claiming, and reconciles all of it against what the job should have used. When the numbers stop matching, it says so.
Why it exists
A contractor came to us believing his own numbers were being written for him. On a steel-frame job the leftover material never goes back to a warehouse. Bars, boards and glass move from the site that has finished with them straight to the site that needs them, and nothing counts them in between. A load leaves one site at one number and arrives at the next one short, and there is no moment in the process where anybody was supposed to check.
That is why most systems miss it. They record what a site was issued and what a site consumed, and they balance. Nothing in them is built to look at the gap between two sites, because on paper there is no gap.
How it works
Raqib logs the movement rather than the balance. Warehouse to site, site to site, site back to warehouse, each one carrying who released it and who signed for it. A wastage claim cannot be submitted without a photograph of what is being claimed, and it waits in a queue for approval rather than posting itself.
Field staff never see money. That is enforced on the model, not hidden in a screen, so it holds whichever way somebody opens the record. Confirmed records lock. Every edit is written to an audit log, including the edits nobody wanted logged.
Invoicing runs in stages against progress on site, starting with the deposit Jordanian law requires, and it flags the variance when what the bank says does not match what the job says.
Where it stands
Seven modules, running a contractor's real job sites since 14 August 2026, in a database of its own that is kept away from the one we develop in.
It is a pilot and not a sale. The test we set for it is not whether it installs. It is whether a month closes and the material still reconciles.
